The International Program in Scenography (IPS) is an international artistic residency program organized annually by OISTAT Romania. This year's theme was 'Face to Face: Who is Other?'. When I heard this title, I was reminded of my personal experience during the pandemic, when people were watching each other to see who had the virus. Drawing on this experience, I wanted to create a visual representation of it, so I came up with the idea of making three giant puppets to symbolize people watching you.

​​During the IPS, I tried to use every environmentally sustainable material possible. The giant puppets were made from cardboard and craft paper, and the inside of the construction was made of wood. They were very light and easy to carry. After the gala finished, all the puppets were recycled.
